With ambitious carbon reduction targets, substantial investments in renewable energy, as well as the longest coastlines and highest tides globally, Canada is well positioned to emerge as a frontrunner in this rapidly growing industry.
By leveraging MRC's role as Canada's national association for tidal, offshore wind, wave, and river current energy and Nergica's expertise in applied research within the country's renewable energy industry, these organizations aim to work collaboratively to drive innovation and advance the development of marine renewable energy solutions.

By working together, these organizations aim to accelerate the adoption of marine renewable energy technologies, drive innovation, and broaden the range of services available to companies and communities engaged in the marine renewable energy sector.
