August 14, 2019

The joint venture Charge4Europe between Euro Service and innogy successfully launched its operations. Charge4Europe's mission is to develop a European, brand-independent charging network and make this available to its shareholders and their customers.

In July, Charge4Europe signed a licence agreement with Hubject, one of the largest international e-roaming platform operators, building on DKV and innogy's successful business ties with Hubject.

"This agreement allows us to speed up the development of one of the largest brand-independent charging networks to help us reach our ambitious targets," says Suthalan Gnanes, Supplier Management eMobility DKV Euro Service. Christian Hahn, CEO of Hubject added: "I look forward to welcoming Charge4Europe, our new ambitious partner in electric mobility, who will help set up an open and common marketplace for electric mobility using new and innovative strategies."
