The French Ministry of Ecology and Energy Transition has chosen the consortium bringing together EDF Renouvelables, Enbridge and innogy for the design, construction and operation and maintenance of the future Dunkerque offshore wind farm.
Located more than 10 km from the coast, the wind farm will have an installed capacity of nearly 600 MW, and will contribute to the objectives of the French State to reach 32% of renewable energy in its electricity consumption by 2030.
This project is at the heart of the economic development of Dunkerque and will contribute to the development of industrial, maritime and tourist activity, bringing jobs to the territory.
