Bringing Clean, Sustainable Biosolids Gasification to Linden, New Jersey
Construction update on Aries Linden Biosolids Gasification Facility

April 14, 2021

Much of the work on Aries Linden Biosolids Gasification Facility continues indoors in February with the installation of motor control centers (left) and the biosolids storage containers.

Engineering staff (above, left) inspect the dryers and gasifier on the second floor of the building.

CEO Greg Bafalis and CFO Mark Witt (above, right) take a close look at the fluidized bed gasifier.

Construction update:

View from the side of the plant: 1) tower for spent sorbent; 2) low temperature heat exchange; 3) SCR - select catalytic reduction; 4) Tri Mer that contains filters and catalyst; 5) sorbent tank; 6) pipe connecting the high temperature heat exchange with the Tri Mer emissions module.

Construction update:

The three parts of the stack were lifted and welded into place on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The white cylinder next to the stack is the sorbent tank. The blue rectangle in the background is a filter module.
