Abengoa (MCE: ABG/P:SM), the international company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the infrastructures, energy and water sectors, has been chosen by the Argentinian company Ingener Arg S.A. for the construction of a 132 kV high voltage power line in a wind farm which is being building in the Neuquén province, in the west of the country.
Abengoa will be responsible for the procurement of all the resources, materials and equipment needed for the construction of the 132-kV simple ternary line, the sectioning of an existing 132 kV line and the deployment of optical fiber by an ADSS cable (All Dielectric Self Supported).
This contract serves to enhance market confidence in addition to strengthening the company's position in developing electrical installations locally and worldwide. Abengoa has been present in Argentina for more than 50 years and has carried out major projects in all the sectors in which it operates, mainly in the area of energy transmission and distribution.
