THE OFFSHORE WIND POWER HUB
Clean Energy States Alliance Presents Newly Updated Offshore Wind Power Hub

June 17, 2025

The Clean Energy States Alliance is proud to present the newly updated Offshore Wind Power Hub, a comprehensive tool that tracks offshore wind developments in the United States to help state policymakers and advocates understand the status of offshore wind projects and make meaningful progress on offshore wind goals.

The Offshore Wind Power Hub Interactive Map displays a comprehensive, up-to-date overview of offshore wind projects, lease areas, ports, and power landings in the US. The map specifies project and lease area stages, as well as projects' contracting, permitting, and construction status. Users can explore projects by filtering for each of these stages and attributes.

At the top of the Offshore Wind Power Hub homepage, an updated graphic displays the number of offshore wind projects in each stage of development. This graphic has been recently modified to include new project stages and updated capacity calculations.

The State Policy Dashboard, available on the homepage under the interactive map, tracks state policies and targets related to offshore wind. It includes links to important policy documents from every state with offshore wind ambitions. Information available for each state includes details on existing offshore wind goals; current, targeted and contracted offshore wind generation; and links to projects associated with each state.

Government employees and offshore wind advocates can access additional features of the Offshore Wind Power Hub. State and federal government employees working on offshore wind or adjacent topic areas such as transmission or workforce development can request access to the Resource Library, available exclusively to registered members. The Resource Library is a collaborative repository of useful, and up-to-date information related to offshore wind, including reports, studies, databases, webinars, and more. Resources can be filtered by type, state, year, and topic. Offshore wind advocates can also request to access an interactive Forum exclusively for advocate users.

The Offshore Wind Power Hub, which is managed by the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) with participation from the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), was launched in 2024.
