Water levels have returned to normal summer pool at Indiana Michigan's (I&M) Elkhart Hydroelectric Facility after unexpectedly dropping six-inches from its normal summer operating level overnight. During that period the facility was still within its Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) operating guidelines.
I&M's hydro team determined that the cause of the drop was lower than normal inflows. Adjustments have been made to address the situation.
