Georgia Power brings new electric vehicle chargers to Richmond Hill along I-95 corridor

Georgia Power has launched two new community electric vehicle (EV) charger at Chu's Convenience Mart at 3980 Highway 17 South in Richmond Hill.

The EV chargers are available for use starting today (Dec 9) - just in time for holiday travel - with complimentary charging through January 9, 2022. The new set of chargers fills a Direct Current (DC) fast charging gap on the I-95 corridor as drivers travel between Savannah and Brunswick.

As part of a statewide initiative to enable EV adoption and connect communities, Georgia Power is building a network of safe, reliable, and convenient charging infrastructure for an ever-growing market segment of drivers.

Since 2017, EV drivers across the state have completed more than 115,000 charging sessions using Georgia Power public fast chargers.
