State and Clean Energy Leaders Join CEC for 10th Annual EPIC Symposium Oct. 28

The California Energy Commission's (CEC) 10th annual Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) Symposium will be held in-person and virtually 
Oct. 28.

The EPIC program was established over a decade ago as California's premier clean energy research and development program. It invests more than $160 million a year to drive clean energy innovation and entrepreneurship and improve the resiliency of the electricity system as climate impacts grow. 

The symposium features panel discussions with leaders from the private sector, research community, and state and federal government, along with representatives from environmental justice communities and tribal nations.

EPIC-funded technologies such as space heating and cooling, wastewater filtration, portable wind turbines, and photovoltaic panels will also be exhibited.

The symposium is held in partnership with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison, and San Diego Gas & Electric Company.

When: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28

Where: In-person at the California Natural Resources Agency Building, 715 P Street. Remote attendance is via Zoom. Registration

is required to attend in-person or remotely.
