This week, the SEAI 2025 Energy Awards took place in Dublin, celebrating innovation and excellence in sustainable energy across Ireland. Kitepower, was shortlisted in the Low Carbon Technologies category for its groundbreaking work in airborne wind energy.
SEAI formally recognised Kitepower for the strength and originality of its innovation, highlighting the company's leading role in advancing airborne wind energy and the growing interest in AWE within the renewable energy sector.
The event also provided the opportunity for Kitepower to engage directly with the SEAI CEO, who has been invited to visit Kitepower's test site in Bangor Erris. Pictures from the ceremony will be shared soon, offering a glimpse of this unique moment of recognition.
