PSO Contributes Over $9,000 to First Responders Safeguarding Areas Surrounding Rock Falls Wind Project

Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) is contributing $9,250 to rural volunteer fire departments and emergency management teams near its Rock Falls Wind Project area. This donation reflects PSO's support and gratitude for the critical services these entities provide, ensuring the safety of PSO workers, landowners and neighbors during emergencies.

"Volunteer fire departments along with emergency management teams play a crucial role in keeping our community safe," said PSO External Affairs Manager Kristi Sproul. "This contribution will assist first responders in continuing their outstanding daily work."

For Kay and Grant County Emergency Management, these funds will help pay for improved radio communication equipment. The first responders receiving donations include:

Hawley Fire Department

Lamont Fire Department

Deer Creek Fire Department

Kay County Emergency Management

Grant County Emergency Management
