The Tennessee Valley Authority will temporarily close one lane of U.S. Highway 68 across Watts Bar Dam for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, to conduct bridge deck repairs and epoxy overlay work on the roadway.
Motorists will still be able to cross the dam/bridge but are advised to expect delays as the respective lane closures will be managed by portable traffic control signals.
Project completion is tentatively set for Friday, June 20, 2025, but the schedule is subject to change pending weather and other factors.
