Exergy Celebrates the Successful Start-up of Two Geothermal Power Plants in Turkey

January 5, 2026

Exergy is proud to announce the successful start-up of Maren's Nezihe Beren 2 (13 MWe) and Emir (33 MWe) Geothermal Power Plants, located in Aydın, Turkey.

Following the completion of the Ministry Acceptances on 30 November 2025, both power plants are now fully commissioned. Delivered in less than 13 months from contract signing, this achievement represents an important milestone in Exergy's ongoing partnership with Maren Maraş Elektrik.

Exergy extends its sincere appreciation to Maren for their continued trust and collaboration. Special recognition goes to Exergy Turkey, all Exergy teams, and the wider network of partners whose commitment and dedication played a crucial role in delivering the projects on schedule.

The successful completion of these projects further reinforces Exergy's position in the ORC geothermal market and supports its mission to contribute to the growth of clean and sustainable energy worldwide.
