Dutch geothermal energy company Yeager Energy ("Yeager") is pleased to announce its second acquisition this year, geothermal energy company Wayland Energy ("Wayland") in the Netherlands. This acquisition follows Yeager's earlier acquisition of a majority stake in geothermal energy company Aardwarmte Vogelaer ("Vogelaer") in February this year. These acquisitions are part of Yeager's strategy to build a portfolio company in the geothermal energy and infrastructure sector in the Netherlands.
The acquisitions of Wayland Energy and Aardwarmte Vogelaer earlier this year have significantly expanded Yeager's operational assets with two producing assets and established a strong foundation for further growth with up to 10 development projects, in addition to the four licenses Yeager already holds in the Netherlands. Yeager looks forward to working with all existing and potential new customers of Wayland and Vogelaer to supply sustainable geothermal energy.
The commitment of over 100 million from sustainable infrastructure investor Pioneer Point Partners LLP ("Pioneer") earlier this year supports the growth of Yeager's geothermal energy and infrastructure operations.
Yeager's strategy is to develop, own, and operate a portfolio of geothermal energy projects and associated infrastructure for greenhouse horticulture, residential heating, and industrial sectors. Yeager aims to deliver reliable, competitively priced, and sustainable heat in a safe and responsible manner. In executing this strategy, Yeager will continue to expand through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
