Iberdrola España, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Spain, has surpassed 11,000 operational public charging points nationwide, after commissioning more than 2,500 new points in 2025 alone, accounting for over 25% of all new installations completed during the year. The company now represents 22% of the country's public charging infrastructure, reinforcing its leadership and consolidating its position as the most extensive charging network in Spain.
All of this energy comes from 100% renewable sources with Guarantees of Origin (GdOs), representing an increase of more than 60% compared with 2024. In this way, Iberdrola España is not only advancing the electrification of mobility in Spain, but also contributing to the transition towards a more efficient, emission-free economy independent of fossil fuels.
To further enhance accessibility, Iberdrola España offers its electric mobility app the highest-rated in the sector which allows users to locate nearby charging points, check their real-time availability, reserve a charger in advance, and start charging using multiple payment methods.
