Starting in December, SaskPower crews will begin work in the Estevan area converting 1,145 streetlights from High Pressure Sodium Vapour (HPSV) bulbs to Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs. This work will continue until March 2021 - and will be done mainly in residential areas.
Residents may experience brief lane restrictions while the work is being done, but no road closures are expected.
The total investment for this conversion is over $400,000.
