Green Frog's commitment to improving its environmental impact continues with a long term trial using hydrogen as a combustion additive.
The systems, which have been supplied by automotive component manufactures, supply hydrogen to the air intake of the generator sets. This in turn has a number of benefits, including improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The combined use of electrolysis with power generation allows for electrical energy to be converted to hydrogen which in turn supports the combustion process. We will be monitoring the results over the months to ensure that we are gaining the best possible data. If successful we expect to roll the technology out across our fleet.
