Currently the project is in its second phase which comprises majorly of on-the-job training in Menengai.
In addition to training programs, JICA has been supporting the development of a Geothermal Master Plan for GDC. The JICA Mission has made a presentation to the management on the Master Plan results having recently held meetings with the technical staff in Nakuru. The Master plan is being developed by West Japan Engineering Consultants (WestJEC) who are contracted by JICA.
