Description
This position is primarily located at the Georgia Power Customer Care Center and is responsible for supporting employees and the management at this location. The duties to be performed include, but are not limited to, answering PBX Switchboard calls ranging from 30-75 calls per day, entering time in E-Stars for 200 employees, high volume iExpense support and supporting the Administrative Services Team by acting as a point of contact for internal customers and external organizations; coordinate and schedule meetings, catering, etc.; complete expense statements; help with presentation preparation and correspondence; manage day to day activity through Outlook calendar; and maintaining files, records and reports for compliance, safety for our business unit; assist with miscellaneous projects as requested; support other departmental Administrative personnel to maximize overall team objectives; assist with customer service team support; commitment to community stewardship; available to work afterhours to support storm restoration efforts.

The hours for this position are from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.

This position is located at the CCC Henry Co. Customer Care Center (CCC) - 2500 Patrick Henry Pkwy McDonough 30253 with the possibility of some traveling required to GPC Headquarters in Atlanta to support the E-business team.

Job Experience and Education

Experience in high activity office that requires customer and employee focus is highly desired. Proven ability to:

  • Previous timekeeping experience

  • Data entry skills

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet stringent deadlines

  • Work with a diverse group with multiple needs

  • Respond quickly to individual tasks and works rapidly to complete task

  • Prioritize and complete projects in a timely fashion

Associate's Degree Desired

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Successful candidate must have all of the following: strong attention to detail, experience in working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated knowledge of multiple desktop applications, ability to master new software applications, adaptability, professional maturity, team oriented, demonstrated excellent organization and communication skills and ability to work independently.
