Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking Electro-chemical Engineering professional to join our Technology group in Danbury, CT where you will assume a key role in the design and development of advanced concepts, electrodes and process for high temperature carbonate fuel cells..

  • Participate in the design and development of new advanced concepts, electrodes, electrolyte and process for high temperature carbonate fuel cells.
  • Apply problem solving skills to develop new and innovative solutions to improve electrode performance, manufacturing process and reduce product cost.
  • Support development of materials specifications, ceramic slurry characterization and resolve component manufacturing issues.
  • Lead carbonate fuel cell material research: Lab-scale tape casting, evaluation, testing and optimization of electrodes and electrolyte systems.
  • Prepare detailed graduation plans for projects and report progress to management on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Review published literature and patents.
  • Organize and analyze data, design experiments and failure mode analysis, supervise and independently lead projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
