Overview

Within Cisco's Security Business unit we are building an infrastructure platform to enable our customers to deliver the most advanced security solutions in the market. We are looking for someone with deep experience in cloud technology, with the right balance of technical wisdom and business acumen to help our customers reach their desired outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our future direction.

Role & Responsibilities

Your role will be to engage with our customers to drive the adoption, success and reliability of applications deployed on our underlying infrastructure platform. Improving their experience is your mission, you will support our customers through evaluation, provisioning and operation, maintaining tight links into our engineering community and providing bidirectional feedback on changes and improvements.

We are looking for a technical, driven, self-starting individual with a track record of obsessive customer focus. Direct responsibilities will include the following:

  • Work with our customers to deep dive their deployments and advise how to achieve the most optimal experience on our infrastructure platform

  • Ensure customer experience in the field is conveyed effectively and timely to the appropriate teams. (become the customer advocate)

  • Provide a first class on-boarding experience for our customers. Your engagement in the customer's installation, configuration and integration steps will help us refine our support practises and materials

  • Work with our customers to understand the business challenges they face, work with internal product management and engineering teams to generate ideas to solve those challenges

  • Become an expert on our infrastructure API and architecture to assist customer integration

Required Skills

  • A passion for working with customers, with extensive experience working in a customer facing role such as a consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect

  • A track record of creating strategy and systems that maximise customer success

  • Strong experience in using, supporting, and analysing large scale, cloud-based, distributed systems, leveraging public cloud providers (AWS in particular)

  • A solid background in infrastructure architecture

  • A natural communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, both highly technical and non-technical

  • Demonstrated understanding of multiple methods for knowledge transfer and training for a diverse, global audience

  • Possess a systematic problem-solving approach

  • Demonstrable experience of working at the senior leadership level
