The Opportunity

Support our North Central region in activities ranging from marketing, customer service, account management and producing quotes and other sales opportunities! We need a self-starter who has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills for our Sales Coordinator position. This position will be located in either Boucherville, QC, Pullman, WA, Lake Zurich, IL, Lewiston, ID.

Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate sales and marketing activities by maintaining regular contact with customers, planning and coordinating customer visits, conferences, seminars, training, and other marketing and sales activities.
  • Provide support to sales team and Sales & Customer Service department.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations for customers or sales team.
  • Promote sales and track progress toward sales goal.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with internal and external customers.
  • Prepare, access, and protect documents containing confidential information.
  • Develop and maintain correspondence, meeting minutes, regional processes, databases, measurements and/or reports.
  • Coordinate with Account managers on deliverables.
  • Facilitate intra/interdivision information flow for sales team and act as liaison between Sales & Customer Service.
  • Apply SEL values in serving customers and representatives.
  • Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understand, create, simplify processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years customer service, inside sales, or clerical experience
  • Strong computer and business software skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Basic understanding of sales procedures and principles
  • Basic understanding of accounting procedures and principles
  • Ability to learn concepts and technical details of products
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of SEL products and systems
  • Experience in a technical sales environment
  • Database experience
  • French / English language
