Division Overview:

Hubbell Commercial and Industrial (HCI) is a core business group of Hubbell Incorporated with four cornerstone business areas: Wiring, Commercial Construction, Industrial and High Voltage.  HCI provides reliable electrical solutions for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, commercial and industrial applications, along with high-voltage test and measurement solutions.

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Facilities Manager manages and coordinates the administrative and operational staff, systems and activities that ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all building properties. Manage and oversee the development and implementation of the Company's Safety and Environmental programs to meet all governmental requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the maintenance of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing and waste management. 
  • Prepares and implements preventative maintenance schedules. 
  • Manages and trains a staff of employees in the general maintenance of buildings, grounds infrastructures, equipment. 
  • Ensures facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications and work orders are tracked and completed with the budgeted guidelines. 
  • May oversee contractors engaged for facility renovations projects.
  • Also oversees the development and implementation of effective Industrial hygiene programs. 
  • Develop, implement and audit all local, state and federal safety program (ie:OSHA) that are required in order to reduce or eliminate any occupational injuries, illnesses or deaths.
  • Develop, implement and audit all local, state and federal environmental programs to ensure that the Company is in compliance with the appropriate regulatory agency.
  • Submit all necessary reports to the required agency by the reporting deadline.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience of at least 2-3 years.  
  • Bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience in related field.
