This position can also be located in San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
- Preliminary 3-6 month staff augmentation assignment to a hi-tech client on location at their site near Reno, Nevada.
- Coordination and completion of fast paced design scopes in an ever changing environment
- Load calculations
- Equipment selection
- CAD/BIM design
- Coordinate electrical system design with mechanical engineers, architects, and other design professionals
- Review / Edit specifications
- Review own work to ensure accuracy
- Interact and work with diverse set of clients and subcontractors
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of solid electrical design experience within a consulting or design-build firm
- Engineer in Training Certificate
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with sustainable design
- Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices
- Experience with Services During Construction, and working closely with trade contractors
- Excellent communication skills: articulate, assertive and confident
- Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills
- Thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
- Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities
- Have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and responsibility

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Revit preferred
- PE License
- Analyze equipment energy use for optimizing systems selection
- Develop robust controls sequence of operations
- Experience in the following markets:
- Data Centers/Mission Critical
- Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Battery Manufacturing
