This position can also be located in San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Preliminary 3-6 month staff augmentation assignment to a hi-tech client on location at their site near Reno, Nevada.
  • Coordination and completion of fast paced design scopes in an ever changing environment
  • Load calculations
  • Equipment selection
  • CAD/BIM design
  • Coordinate electrical system design with mechanical engineers, architects, and other design professionals
  • Review / Edit specifications
  • Review own work to ensure accuracy
  • Interact and work with diverse set of clients and subcontractors
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of solid electrical design experience within a consulting or design-build firm
  • Engineer in Training Certificate
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience with sustainable design
  • Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices
  • Experience with Services During Construction, and working closely with trade contractors
  • Excellent communication skills: articulate, assertive and confident
  • Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills
  • Thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
  • Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities
  • Have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and responsibility
  • Bring energy and enthusiasm to the office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Revit preferred
  • PE License
  • Analyze equipment energy use for optimizing systems selection
  • Develop robust controls sequence of operations
  • Experience in the following markets:
  • Data Centers/Mission Critical
  • Semiconductor Manufacturing
  • Battery Manufacturing
