Must be local to Fort Mcmurray.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Administrative assistance for the Business Unit HSE department
- Attend and maintain meeting minutes and action logs during safety meetings
- Participate in the preparation and distribution of all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
- Maintain safety program database management as it relates to the Business Unit
- Administration of the HSE recognition program in conjunction with Corporate administrative department
- Liaise with the Corporate HSE Administrative team to ensure continuity, application and execution of the Willbros Canada HSE Management System
- Provide HSE administrative training and support to project administrative personnel.
- Assist as required with HSE related sections of prequalification and bid proposals
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Health & Safety Administrator designation
- Post- secondary education in a related field considered an asset
- NSA or NCSO designation considered an asset
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a professional environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Attention to detail with excellent writing/editing skills.
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, various software applications and web-based safety registries such as ISNetworld, Canqual, and Complyworks.
- A self-starter requiring minimal supervision with the ability to multi-task and define priorities.
- Ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
