Description
POWER Engineers, Inc is currently seeking a Drafter to work in our Generation, Fossil/Geothermal Department in our Atlanta, Georgia office. The position will involve creation and modification of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, orthographic, isometric and redline markups utilizing both AutoCAD and MicroStation. Drafter responsibilities include utilizing and following specific codes, reference material, CAD standards, and the ability to use application software effectively with a high level of detail and accuracy. Candidates will be expected to take on new challenges and willing to learn.
Requirements
Required Education/Experience
- Associates Degree in Drafting (or equivalent technical degree)
Desired Education/Experience
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience is beneficial
- Good background in mathematics
- Experience working with scales
- Mechanical piping, 3D modeling and SmartPlant experience a plus
